But inside her story is another story with another character that tells another story. A dark sexy-snake-hunter, a greedy real estate developer, hypocritical governor, and a violent man people call the Crazy Rancher: These are some of the folks tangled up in Lizie's yarn, each with a yarn of their own. Secretive and controversial, this obsession with speed provokes a disparity of community response- from ardent disapproval to adulation. Most people, though have no idea it even exists. The BLVD focuses intently on environment, turning its measured gaze towards the inner-city industrial landscape where races occur. The piece intimately reveals details that mark the invariable hours of waiting, sharply contrasting the brief blasts of adrenaline from a run.

Ghetto Ambition is a project studying street organizations in Chicago. What is unique about this documentary is the scope of the subject matter. Not only are some of the strongest Chicago street organizations being filmed, but the coming together of these organization to help produce, act in and make music for a series of documentaries and narrative films exploring the social and human condition of individuals involved with street organizations in Chicago. The main focus is to give individuals involved with street organizations an outlet for them to evolve into positive productive entities within the urban community.
